NZFAP Standard v9 includes a small number of minor updates following the more significant changes made in 2025.
The updates are focused on improving clarity, removing a requirement that sits outside the scope of the programme.
Record retention
Farm and infrastructure maps
Agrichemical records and storage
Mortality records
Livestock transport
There are no new requirements for farmers, and most farms are unlikely to need to change the way they currently operate. Changes are clearly marked as “(Amended)” within the Standard.
