NZFAP Plus Standard v7 introduces targeted refinements, with most changes focused on programme structure, registration, and pre-audit processes. A small number of requirement changes have also been made, but these have been kept to a minimum given the significant changes made in 2025. These refinements are intended to improve flow, strengthen clarity, and make the programme easier to follow in practice.

Removal of self-assessment on application
Introduction of a pre-audit checklist
Submission of evidence for annual requirements

Nutrient management and soil health
A number of other minor amendments have been made across the Standard to improve flow and provide clarity. All changes are clearly marked as “(New) or (Amended)” within the Standard.
